Rufana Suites

For us was a great location, we were just outside the centre and it was a lot quieter and places to eat around here were cheaper then Moalboal centre. You will need a bike to get around, but easy to organise. We managed to jump off the bus from cebu outside the macdonalds and it was a 4 min walk to the hotel. Perfect. The staff were really welcoming and booked a tour for us with ease. Was able to sort transport back to the airport too easily. They were so helpful everything possible.

Rufana suites was perfect for our family. We did not want to stay in the chaos of panagasama beach. We wanted access to local amenities as we were travelling with young children. Rufana is located close to a huge mall, food places and pharmacies etc. They have a massive clean pool and it was so nice that kids despite not speaking each other's languages would meet and play in the pool together. Breakfast was delicious and freshly prepared, you could have waffles or toast, boiled or fried eggs with sausages, pork or hot dog. They offered free hot drinks, juice and water all day long. The concierge was manned 24 hours. The staff are extremely helpful. They really go out of their way to ensure you have a great time. We booked out own day trips as wanted private rather than a group. We did a waterfalls tour exploring all the waterfalls in the area. It has been a kind of dry season so aguinid was very low in water so we did some canyoneering there. Inambakahn was just magnificent, the best we have seen and Kawasan was very overhyped and too busy in my opinion. Pangasama beach for the sardine run was pure chaos. To see how tourists treat the environment was actually quite shocking to me. Boats pulling up on people snorkeling, crowds of people chasing one turtle. I could not wait to leave the sardine run to be honest. I really advise you go at 6am. Tours start operating from 8am and there is literally no etiquette or safety. Please do not take your children in that chaos. We noticed that many people did not know how to swim or snorkel and the guides were pulling them on floats, Many a person got tangled. A tuk tuk from panagasama beach to rufana was 200 pesos. From cebu city the journey there was 3 hours. I would absolutely stay here again. Friendly, helpful, approachable and smiling staff, location is very quiet far from civilian and mechanical noises/ disturbances, ambiance is amazingly peaceful, cool and open to fresh wind, front shaded areas complements the other amenities, pool within the premises, safe and secured with front gate/fence, with parking area infront, flexible to breakfast arrangements, tourist-friendly amenities, shops are within 100 meters, restaurants/ eatery are very near, numerous local vehicles accessible to tourists, location is proximate to other adventure/ tourist attractions/ sites in the district

The staff was really helpful, they can help to arrange scooters, trips, laundry, and lot more. Great pool with outside shower.

Staff is by far the main attribute to this hotel. Hotel is a little bit off Moalboal center and also further away from Panagsama beach (the beach with sardines run and all the international restaurants (so quieter but it's still philipines so you get dogs howls and roasters calls) Rooms are basic but confortable. We checked for bed bugs and there was none. Room was Well cleaned. Water pressure in shower is good. Breakfast is plentiful. So on and on, a good for the budget hotel. But the staff, they were super helpful all the way. They cooked us a Dorade we brought from the market, helped us organise our activities, called taxi for us, called boat lines to inquire for schedule, helped us rent a motorbike, were smiling all the time. On and on, the staff is the best asset to this hotel
